Art gallery – Arts centre

At the end of the Gulbenkian Foundation's garden, the modern art section known as CAM (Centro de Arte Moderna), opened in 1983, never enjoyed the same aura as its cultural center and museum of ancient art. After 4 years of renovation, CAM has been completely updated by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma. Between the building and the park, a gigantic canopy serves as an entrance. The cultural program includes visual and performing arts in the new wing.
