The small municipal market in Vila de Sintra has long since been brought back to life by the vegetarian restaurant A Praça. Hidden behind the National Palace, it's a great place to stop for lunch or a snack. At the end of the morning, you can go to the market, where you'll find an abundance of local produce, and then have lunch in Praça. It's very convivial! The menu is full of fresh, seasonal produce, of course... There's only one menu option, but it's one of the few good vegetarian options in Sintra, and we hope it lasts!
