This blue house doesn't back onto the Sintra hill, but it could! The hostel is located in the city center (not the historic center), next to the Museum of Modern Art. You'll be far from the tourist crowds, but very close to the station, so you can catch the early bus to visit the various palaces. The hostel is simple but well-maintained, and reasonably priced, especially for double rooms. António will give you a warm welcome, and will be delighted to give you all the information you need and make you feel at home.
