FÊTES DE NOSSA SENHORA DO ROSÀRIO DE TRÓIA
Go there and contact
A traditional festival in the Setúbal region, which lasts several days and involves fishermen and their boats of course.
A fishing town must necessarily celebrate its patron saint. It is mainly a procession at sea, organized by fishermen, who have carefully decorated their boats. They go from Setúbal to Troía and are acclaimed by the crowd that remains on the shore of the port. Outside this procession, a competition for the most beautiful boat is also organized with, in the evening, a fireworks display. The festivities end with the return of the fishermen to the port of Setúbal
