Since 1922, Quinta da Bacalhôa has become one of Portugal's largest wineries. It owns vineyards and wineries throughout Portugal, notably in the Alentejo, Setúbal Peninsula, Bairrada, Beiras, Dão and Douro regions. This 15th-century palace, a blend of Moorish and Renaissance architecture, is famous for its Moroccan-inspired towers, polychrome azulejos, gardens and, above all, wine tastings. You can choose to visit the palace alone or the palace + cellar/museum.
