ST. JOHN'S CHURCH
Today, the monument remains only the wall of the abside. In the thirteenth century, the church was a former priory occupied by a dozen monks. In 1736, she was rebuilt by the Abbey of Fécamp. Then in March 1794, during the period of Terror, the monument was transformed into a place of worship of Reason. The bell was dynamized by the Germans in July 1944, and the rest of the building destroyed by the bombing in July and August 1944. A new church, with modern architecture, was rebuilt in the center of the commune in the 1960 s. Since August 17, 2014, the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church has been exposed to a restored fresco, representing the Sainte-Famille, the remnant of the rubble of the ancient Saint-Jean church.
