DOOR MILL
Moulin de la Porte, a medieval treasure on the banks of the Muance, invites you to step back in time and enjoy authentic bread.
Endowed with a rich history, the Moulin de la Porte is the oldest and best preserved of the mills operated by the Muance, a tributary of the Dives. It was built by the Abbey of Fécamp in the 11th century to grind wheat, before being bought back after the Revolution and equipped with three wheels. Today, the holm oak wheel turns in the void for the pleasure of walkers. The production of wheat flour, with the sale of breads, is an appointment not to be missed, on the third weekend in June and during the Heritage Days in September.
