VILLA LOUIS ET MARGUERITE
Villa offering a friendly guest room and family rooms, one of which has a balcony and garden view
A guest room is the ideal place to meet the world and share its passions when you are open, friendly and multilingual. The Kok family, of Dutch origin, has understood this. Following Arromanches in 2002, they settled there two years later and created a three-room bed and breakfast. Today, with success, the family offers two other rooms 200 m from there in another villa. But we admit a weakness for Villa Louis and Margarita, an old fisherman’s house from 1875 full of charm. That being said, in one or the other, you are greeted by a friend, and you are told about the village, and you are better informed than by a book about the Battle of Normandy. Both the father and son have a real passion for the Second World War. As proof, after ten years of intense research, the son opens the doors to his Veterans Museum, a visit that is an absolute must. If you have children, choose the family rooms Tatihou, Poppy or Spitfire. If you are a couple, prefer The Beret, a beautiful room with a balcony and a view of the garden. The garden pleases everyone in the beautiful season with its drinking corner and ping-pong table. By the way, why Louis and Margarita? They were the names of the children (and the boat) of the first owner of the house…
