Une très belle surprise: un restaurant avec des plats classiques français bien préparés. Terrasse sur jardin agréable. Tout cela au centre de Kigali

Really good restaurant, a bit pricy, but excellent price-performance-ratio.
The waiters are friendly. The garden is very beautiful, you can sit in atmospherically illuminated small gazebos. The terrace and the inside of the restaurant are also nicely decorated.
Have been there quite often now and never left disappointed.
The lunch option is worth mentioning too, you get entre, main course and desert for a really fair price.

2回目の訪問。美味しいし本格的な味が比較的低価格で楽しめるレストランです。私はポークを注文しましたが、マスタードソースがとにかく美味しかった。また友人がオーダーしたパスタはおそらく手打ちのもので、そちらもとてもおいしかった。また必ず来ます。

Pour moi c' est mon resto préféré dans tout le kigali, la cuisine est de qualité extraordinairement superieur.
L accueil est genial, l' ambiance est de chez les moines.

Pour un européen une adresse immanquablement dans la capitale du Rwanda. Le cadre est reposant et l'assiette, quel que soit votre choix, devrait répondre à vos attentes. Avons passé de très bons moments notamment au réveillon du nouvel an. Grand Merci Olivier pour ta cuisine et ta bonne humeur.

I had tilapia and dauphinoise potatoes with a lemon and garlic sauce. The potatoes and sauce were so good. The service was excellent as well. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quite place to have lunch or dinner

C etait franchement pas bon.
Gambas = crevettes congelées de mauvaise qualité.
On va dire que l étoile est pour la planche de charcuterie qui était ok. Saumon fumé de mauvaise qualité. Légumes fades. Purée sèche et pas assaisonnée.
Cocktail trop sucré, et le blue lagoon de mon amie sans intérêt.
Par contre c est vraiment pas cher mais on a été super déçues vu les notes :(

Cuisine absolument délicieuse, et le service n'est en rien comparable aux autres restaurants déjà visités. Je vous recommande vivement !

Laid back ambience, garden setup, lovely food, well presented. Tried the horse steak for the first time and it was great actually. Medium rare. Chose the side of Dauphinoise potatoes and they were awesome. For dessert had Crepe Suzette complete with flambé of Grand Marnier at the table.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Kigali (Kimihurura), Atmosphere is chill and amazing but the staff is also amazing I highly recommend this place it's better as well for some events (Birthdays, Engagements,..)

An authentic French restaurant in a quiet neighborhood in Kigali. This is slightly more expensive than some other restaurants in Kigali, but is quiet, with a beautiful garden (even at night), and you will have a romantic dinner in their grounds.
Start with an enjoyable cocktail, including an eponymous concoction which is delicious. Starters include both frogs legs and snails.
Entrees include steaks, chicken, and pork loin. Chateaubriand, vegetarian options, and more.
Make sure you save enough room for a delicious desert!
The wine list is 100% French wine. Slightly disappointed not to have a Champagne by the glass, but the selections were delicious.

I'm always impressed by the Chef whenever I try a new dish here. The Horse Steak is a must try for steak lovers.

I have been there twice last month / Service is very efficient and friendly / Food in general very good, but was disappointed with the Shepherd's pie, as the meat was not very tasty and included hard pieces

Restaurant d'exeption
superbe restaurant de spécialité française, la cuisine est à la hauteur de nos bonne vieille spécialité, foi gras maison bien sur, excellente blanquette de veau. Le cadre enchanteur. J'y suis aller car je connaissais son homologue l'Epicurien à Kampala (même patron) et qui n'a rien à lui envier d'ailleurs. Merci pour cette très bonne cuisine.

Lieu frequenté majoritairement par une clientèle francophone en manque de saveurs du pays. Une cuisine correcte (sans plus) à des prix raisonnables. Personnel très accueillant.

Sumptuous, exceptional service, good food. The perfect place for a romantic dinner, those wishing to discover the French culinary culture and for expats in search of country. Without forgetting a friendly customers and a chef available to dialogue! I have a good memory of my passage with the epicurean.

The epicurean, this is the place to go all the french expats in Kigali. That is quite legitimate and in more than one way. First for the friendly Olivier Béal side of lyon, the owner and his wife rwanda, the lovely Alice.Then, staff team, a young and dynamic that never fair to inquire at the quality of the time spent in their company. As for the setting, the garden is spacious and pretty arbours were installed. For a romantic moment or a business meal, it is a " must". Let us talk to cuisine... a blend of traditional french cuisine flirting with the traditions of Rwanda. An address that you must visit in Kigali! Olivier and Muriel

L'Epicurien is a beautiful restaurant. The privacy and serenity are the top highlights but the food and service are also excellent.
My girlfriend and I stopped for lunch on a Monday. We sat in under at a private table under a pergola surrounded by plants and flowers.
I had the chicken and she had the steak. Both were delectable! My personal favorite, though, was the complementary, fresh baked dinner rolls. Yum! The food presentation was eloquent.
We will definitely come back here when in Kigali.
There is a small parking area with free parking.
