In place of the former Presidential Palace Museum, the Museum of Arts of Rwanda, located 4 km from Kigali International Airport, was inaugurated in May 2018. This new museum presents contemporary works of art produced by Rwandan and international artists, but also the evolution of the arts in the history of Rwandan culture. Permanent and temporary exhibitions. The historic building also houses the remains of the Falcon 50, which fell on 6 April 1994, with the Presidents of Rwanda and Burundi on board.
