An institution in Kigali! It is still to be discovered, as it is lurking below Nyarugenge, close to the prison. La Galette is first of all a good bakery, with breads in all their forms. But it is also a butcher's shop, a supermarket, a restaurant in a rather pleasant inner courtyard, with quality products, including wines and spirits. Customers sometimes come from far away. Good to do some shopping and eat at the same time or the other way around. It is often crowded, but the service remains efficient.

The galette is a very good address in Kigali. I had several times to go shopping or my the products are of very good quality. As for the restaurant it is as much a fastidious and very attentive service.
