THE "LITTLE FENCE"
This is the border post between Goma (DRC) and Rubavu (Rwanda), reserved for the passage of pedestrians (inhabitants of the region), motorcycles, bicycles loaded with provisions, cabs... When the solution allows it, more than 20,000 people pass through here every day, in one direction or the other. The place is teeming with life, the Congolese come to stock up on fruit, vegetables, meat, beer and lemonade from the Bralirwa; the Rwandans come to buy fish in particular (tilapia and Lake Albert captain). It is a place for bartering, supplying and storing all kinds of goods.
