At 7 km from Gisenyi, on the road to Kigufi, we go down on the right after the Bralirwa towards the lake and we find ourselves on a small beach with here and there small bubbles of burning water. This water would have curative virtues. Rwandan women don't hesitate to immerse themselves in small natural basins, while the children play around or go for a swim. Nothing is really arranged, do not expect basins worthy of great thermal cures, but you will be in direct contact with Rwandan life! A very pleasant place.

At the beginning, we went on this site for simply see what these small hot water pools looked.
Using GPS: 1° 44 ' 23.23" S - 29° 16 ' 26.78" E.
At the place where water runs ground, it is very hot, beware of the burns.
You will not have been necessary for a long time, so on invitation of some young people " locaux" , we find ourselves to paddle in this water in their company. A great moment of conviviality.
Note that the last section of way to reach the sources requires a 4x4 (if this for the last 500 feet away).
