Inherited from father to son for over 130 years, this tavern is entirely dedicated to touros and Portuguese racing. Between the Praça de Touros and the tourist office, the slightly macho clientele are loud-mouthed, the decor busy, the tablecloths checked, the diplomas hung and the welcome resolutely cheerful. What about food? Comforting rustic dishes! Oven-roasted lamb, wild boar or duck, or steaming grilled meats, will empty a few "canons" of tinto. So, as we said, it's an address for uninhibited meat lovers.
