The bus is by far the best option: the main connections are done for Lisbon (sometimes via Santarem, 23 times a day), Coimbra (13 times), Leiria (8 times). You can easily reach Tomar (1 times a day) and Ourém (2 buses per day). Take 2 to 3 daily buses for Batalha, Alcobaça and Nazaré. Furthermore, 16 buses per day for Porto, 13 Braga, 18 for Evora and 10 for the Algarve (Faro).
Baggage instructions are available at the station for 2,50 € per day from May to October during periods of large pilgrimages. But they are not accessible some 13 of the month (days of high attendance because they are the days of appearances). Find out more on site.
