Museum in the romantic Visconde de Sacavém palace, relating the evolution of ceramics from the terracotta dishes.

Located in the romantic Visconde Palace in Sacavém, this museum houses more than 15,000 items. It traces the evolution of ceramics, from simple 15th century terracotta tableware to pieces with more sophisticated patterns. Ceramics inspired Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro, a famous 19th century cartoonist, who used it as a support for his humorous figures.
