The Buddah Eden Garden is located in Quinta dos Loridos, in Bombarral. This oriental garden of 35 ha is the largest in Europe! It was built in reaction to the destruction of the three Buddhas of Bamiyan in Afghanistan by the Taliban in 2001. You will walk in this haven of peace through pagodas, terracotta statues, water point with Japanese koi carps and sculpted dragons, etc. Nearly 6,000 tons of marble and granite were used to build this beautiful place.
