The urban bus network. It is very developed and well connected, but few lines rise in the historic centre. You can take lines No 26 and 34 from Praça da Republica on the edge of the River, to go to the University and go to the Botanical Garden. The line No. 42, which leaves the Santa Clara bridge, crosses the tower of the historic centre to reach Praça da Republica.
Linea Azul (electric) is the only one that leaves the Santa Clara bridge to serve the entire historical low city according to a circular, practical route. This is the tourist line of Coimbra. There is no line from the river to the University.
