In an alleyway just a few steps from the 8 de Maio square, the No Tacho tavern invites you to sample its delicious Portuguese cuisine. Behind the stoves, chef Vitor de Oliveira and his team offer dishes generally based on local, seasonal produce: octopus, bacalhau, local meat, accompanied by potatoes, rice or finely seasoned vegetables, and a platter of Portuguese cheeses. Desserts include ice cream, caramel pudding or the traditional "morgado do bussaco". A fine selection of wines. Quality service.
