It is an old woolen factory restored by the descendants of the former owners who had been forced to close down for economic reasons. The machines are now producing wool again, on a small scale. You can buy all kinds of designer woolen clothes and objects, including the adorable mascot dog, Petrus, created by the owner's wife. Fashion fans will also appreciate the coats of the famous Portuguese designer, Miguel Gigante, sold here at factory prices. A great initiative in a depressed region.
