Praça Luís de Camões (Cathedral Square) is the most interesting of the city with its beautiful 17th and 18th century houses. But don't hesitate to discover the surrounding streets and their buildings, such as the Igreja São Vicente to the north of the cathedral. This baroque church has sixteen azulejo panels telling the story of the life of Christ. A route through the heart of the city is proposed on small orientation panels. You should be able to find them easily, if not, don't hesitate to ask. It takes about 30 minutes.
