This interesting museum traces the history (little known to the public) of silk production in Portugal. In fact, this is where the country's largest silk production takes place. Accompanied by a guide, you'll discover the life cycle of the silkworm, without which the material would not exist. The tour takes in 5 themed rooms: general information, films on silk production, its development from the worm to the finished product, the instruments used and, last but not least, fun activities.
