Commonwealth Military Cemetery, home to nearly 5,000 headstones and a memorial with a Latin inscription on its pediment

The cemetery is home to almost 5,000 headstones of soldiers who fell in the fight for freedom. Most of them were members of the Commonwealth Forces. Opposite the cemetery, a memorial pays tribute to the 2,092 Commonwealth soldiers who were not buried. Cimetière militaire britannique de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Ce lieu est Impressionnant, et très émouvant. Très bien entretenu et arboré.
