SAINT-SAUVEUR CHURCH
Church erected by the Lord of Beaumont, with high flamboyant crosses dating from the 15th century
Church of the XIth century, erected by the lord of Beaumont. Its high flamboyant crosses date from the 15th century, and its entrance from the Second Empire. Upstream from the Touques valley, it dominates the village and is characterized by a mixture of architectural styles. Have fun looking for the most improbable faces on the Romanesque capitals, which are very well presented. Important work has been undertaken to renovate the church, under the aegis of the Heritage Foundation, on the bell tower and the round Romanesque stair tower.
