Palais du Rhin, listed as a historic monument, features a park with remarkable sculptures and an alley of sarcophagi.

Formerly known as the Kaiserpalast(Imperial Palace), it was built by Hermann Eggert between 1883 and 1888 at the request of Kaiser Wilhelm I. It marked the definitive establishment of the Second Reich. Classified as a historic monument since 1993, it houses the headquarters of the Direction Régionale des Affaires Culturelles du Grand Est and the Commission centrale pour la navigation du Rhin. The park features a number of sculptures and an alley of sarcophagi from the Strasbourg necropolis. For those wishing to find out more, a brochure is available from reception.
