BRUCOURT MONASTERY
To see (or see) also, the Brucourt manor which is the ancient monastery of the Annonciade. Located on St. Lawrence Hill, in the middle of an area of more than 15 ha of grasslands overlooking the church Saint-Vigor, the building built between 1912 and 1920 by a couple of collectors was bequeathed to Benedictines in 1951 to ensure a presence and a reception apostolic. As they were present during the summer months, the manor house was offered to the Virgin Mary in 1975. After 40 years in Brucourt, the sisters of the Annonciade wanted to settle in a new monastery in Caen-Grentheville. The monastery, private property since 2015, is now a magnificent guest house, a member of the association «Welcome to Château».
