LE MARCEL PROUST
Restaurant with panoramic view of the races at Cabourg racecourse.
The Marcel Proust seems the perfect place to admire the races over a good meal. But we don't hide the fact that it's expensive, even if the caterer has an excellent reputation. The meat is tender and melt-in-the-mouth, the vegetables always in season, the fish very well cooked. The cheeses, camembert, pont-l'évêque and livarot, always matured at the right temperature, are a delight. As for the service, there's nothing to complain about. A word of advice: ask for a table overlooking the track if you like racing for the spectacle, or if you're inviting your neophyte friends.
