LE HASTING’S
Restaurant like a Parisian bistro in Cabourg, with a menu or daily specials offering good and simple food.
With a name like that, you’d think you were in England. And with such an old-fashioned brasserie atmosphere, you’d think you were in a Parisian bistro. But this is Cabourg! Guillaume has taken over from his father, who spent 35 years at the helm of this institution founded in 1986. He is in charge of the kitchen, and she is in charge of service, with a crack team. The menus (including an interesting lunchtime special), à la carte menu and daily suggestions offer something good and simple: mussels, fish, Hastings’ burger, with homemade sauces and contemporary wines. A sure bet.
