Downtown with many art galleries in Cabourg, hosting the annual Romantic Film Festival in June.
It’s nice to stroll through the picturesque streets of Cabourg to soak up its Belle Époque atmosphere. Take the time to wander around this original fan-shaped city, to admire the architecture of the houses, their colourful facades, mosaic cupboards, wood panelling, and roofs decorated with finials. At the bend of an alley, you will surely see neo-Norman constructions, master villas from the end of the 19th century. To continue, a detour is necessary through the market halls (open every morning during the summer) before strolling along the Avenue de la Mer, entirely pedestrian in summer, which connects the Town Hall to the gardens of the casino where the Grand Hotel, dear to Proust, dominates. Cabourg has always known how to attract and still attracts artists, writers as well as painters. From Turner to Monet via Prinet, everyone has succumbed to the bewitching charm of this majestic and poetic city which conceals, among other things, numerous art galleries. Cabourg also hosts the Romantic Film Festival every year in June.

C'est une ville exceptionnelle, faisant partie sans doute des meilleures villes de France car Cabourg a un charme désué avec un centre ville ayant une architecture préservée.
