Pancakes, grills, salads in a restaurant with terrace in Caen offering a lounge-cocooning.

Francoise joined Vaugueux to invest this restaurant all in height. No less than three levels (hence the name) where it combines two of its favourite themes: pancakes (the brand also makes grill and salad bar) and the decoration (here, the gray flirts with plum tones). The menu takes you from the Caen streets to more remote regions such Connemara via stamped pancakes Alpine, Charentaise, de la Mer or Brissoise. On the pancakes side, you can choose the version "Simple comme Bonjour", "les Flamboyantes" or "Soyons gourmands". In addition ice creams lovers are spoiled for choice. The establishment, in the heart of Vaugueux, a preserved area all in paving stones and old residences within walking distance from the castle, there is also a perfectly oriented terrace, sunny when the sky allows it, prepare to have difficulty to leave work if you come to the  lunch break. Small originality the lounge-cocooning on the 2nd floor. Coffee tables and poufs, ideal for eating, relax or take the aperitif.

Exactement le meme avis que Yoann Lecheval concernant la patronne, au depart tres gentille pour nous insciter à venir, puis mal aimable pendant tout le repas, à se plaindre de sa condition de commercante... , se permettant de nous critiquer car nous n´avions pas finti nos assiettes... et à la fin de nouveau agreable au moment de l´addition, ayant même envie de bavarder une heure. Nous en sommes sortis un peu deroutés. La nourriture etait bonne et bien copieuse, meme si il pourrait y avoir quelques ameliorations. C´est quand meme un demi attrape touristes.

Contrairement à certains avis la patrone à été d'une gentillesse du début à la fin du repas. Les tripes étaient excelentes et la crêpe au caramel un délice. Je recommande à cent pourcents

Très déçus. Nous sommes allés au triplex un soir de semaine vers 19h40. En arrivant devant pour regarder la carte, la patronne était très souriante en nous vendant sa carte. Une fois à l'intérieur , changement d'ambiance. Une fois l'aperitif servi, la patronne s'empresse de rester sur le devant de son restaurant pour observer les potentiels clients plutôt que de prendre notre commande. Regard froid de la patronne . Je lui demande un avis sur un des plat proposé, elle me répond très brièvement et s'empresse de retourner dehors. Une fois le plat servi , assez déçu également, malgré le sourire du cuisinier. Nous n'avons pas fini nos plats et étions ressortis 35 minutes après notre arrivée. Par contre au moment de payer l'addition c'est une tout autre patronne qui se présente à nous souriante. Étant habitués à ce quartier du Vaugueux , nous sommes aujourd'hui trés déçu de l'accueil et du fait que la patronne ne soit pas du tout aimable. Nous n'y retournerons donc jamais.

the street of vaugueux is nice to just go there, but not for dining, smell of sewer throughout the meal, the waitress is not very pleasant and more occupied on the game the guest than to be served, the choice to emerge a bottle rather than a jug is not the choice of guest, the crockery is dirty, the prices are expensive for the content of the dishes, the dish looks more like a entrance, they are grasse and not very gouteux, it is simply a tourist trap, the question of knowing how the meal happened is not important for this restaurant! and been able permanently!
