Armenian restaurant in Caen near the port offering a medley of aubergines, cabbage leaves, and stuffed vines.

This restaurant is a gem. Run by a charming couple of Armenian origin, they’re delighted to introduce you to their specialties. The menu makes our mouths water! We opt for the discovery menu, which lets you try (almost) everything. Starters include eggplant farandole (caviar, grilled, stuffed), herbed crudités and yoghurt. The main course consists of stuffed cabbage leaves and vines, Armenian steak, meat pancakes and potatoes. For dessert, we couldn’t resist the honey-walnut cake. Suffice it to say, the meal was a success.

Découvrir la cuisine arménienne de qualité est un rare privilège , aussi on peut remercier les propriétaires de ce restaurant pour leur cuisine exceptionnelle, tout en saveur, qui réveille nos papilles gustatives d'une manière douce et délicieuse. Tout est choisi soigneusement, préparé avec amour et mitonné sur le fourneau dans l'arrière cuisine. Une saveur de là-bas, qui nous fait rêver et donne presque l'envie d'y aller.... en Arménie.

Superb discovered Armenian cuisine!
Do not hesitate to cross the threshold of the door… the magic works afterwards!
In a typical décor and without fuss, the owners welcome us simply and warmly.
With our disposal, they make us share 1 touch of their Armenian culture and make us discover their culinary specialities… a treat!
We opted for the menu “Hayk” (= discovery) in order to enjoy a maximum of flavours. The freshness of the dishes finished convincing us! We will return!!
