BIJOUX CRÉATION
On one side, jewellers and on the other, jewellers are creative. Philippe Mélot belongs to this second category. At first glance, nothing distinguishes his shop from a classical jewellery shop, except the gentleman sitting inside, his apron on his back, so absorbed by his work that he doesn’t even notice the curious - and the curious! - watching and admiring his storefront. On second sight, the benefits are quite different from those expected and are known to be such a trade. Not only can you buy a unique creation, but if you have a jewel in mind simply because it comes out of your fertile imagination, to offer (or offer, why not!), you can just as well submit your inspiration, your desire and have something that looks like you. You can also bring a broken or worn-out piece of jewellery: The workshop repairs, serenades, polishes... and even buys your precious gold or silver by weight. Giving a second life to a jewel that has lived is better than selling it or forgetting it in a drawer, right?
