Admittedly, rue Neuve-Saint-Jean and rue Bellivet, between them, do not come close to the prestigious Boulevard Haussmann and other major Parisian arteries, but nevertheless, let us know how lucky we are to still have, in the centre of Caen, one of the jewels of the largest and most historic brands dedicated to high-end retail and in a united place. What’s more, the case has been given a makeover. Le Printemps caennais has not lost any of its creator’s spirit or character (founded by Jules Jaluzot in 1865). Quite the contrary. We always sell "ideals and feelings" with elegance and prestige. Even the escalators have kept a soul! Jewellery, perfumery, leather goods (Longchamp, Lancel, Mauboussin have their corners there), fashion and haute couture brands (there are all the trends), women’s, men’s and children’s clothes, are there, a clever mix of beauty and luxury. It’s not for everyone to afford, let’s be honest. But a little trip to Spring is like a walk: it gives you a little bit of a dream
