The Maison du Cheval is located right in front of the Memorial. It is not a museum, nor an information centre, but a body bringing together the six partners of the horse-riding sector of Basse-Normandie: the Pôle de Compétitivité, the Conseil des Chevaux de Basse-Normandie, the Public Interest Group (IPTF) Normandie 2014, the Regional Equestrian Committee (COREN), the Network of Epidemio-Monitoring Equine (RESPE) and the French Horse Riding and Horse Riding Institute (IFCE). The objective is simple: to pool costs, strengthen exchanges between the different structures, and develop new projects to promote the French and departmental equine Sector.
