From the poussins to the pros, it’s at the Caen rink and it’s for 4-year-olds. And for kids who learn to skate, the models are right next door. The Caen Pro team, Les Drakkars, plays in the Magnus League, the top of French hockey, after a spectacular recovery from Division 3 in the early 2000s. The HCC had been downgraded to the club following the balance sheet of the pro club, facing financial difficulties. The Pro team, which won the French Cup and the title of French Elite Champion (the ancestor of the Magnus League) in 2000.
