LYCÉE PROFESSIONNEL DE L'OASIS

The Lycée Professionnel Oasis is a vocational training establishment located in Caen. It offers a range of courses in the fields of personal service and catering. The school has been awarded the Lycée Professionnel des Métiers de Service à la Personne et à la collectivité label. Courses include the Bac Pro ASSP (Accompagnement Soins et Services à la Personne), CAP ATMFC (Assistant Technique en Milieu Familial et Collectif) and CAP AEPE (Accompagnant Éducatif Petite Enfance), as well as CAP PSR (Production et Service en Restaurations). The history of the Oasis goes back to 1857, when Mlle Aline Itier decided to devote her life and fortune to helping young, isolated, jobless and homeless working-class women. Thanks to a grant and premises provided by the Mayor of Caen at the time, a workshop was set up and a dozen girls were housed.
