This museum offers a panorama of life in Normandy from prehistory to the 20th century. The permanent exhibition is organized by theme throughout the rooms of the Logis du Gouverneur. With new exhibits being added all the time, educational booklets for children and treasure hunts, there's never a dull moment! As for temporary exhibitions, they are held in the Rempart rooms, which are well worth a visit, and in the Ducs de Normandie Chessboard room, which is open to the public.
