Long live Normandy! Farmers producing Norman fatty livers met in an association with the aim of valuing this local heritage. All producers adhere to a charter which guarantees consumers the quality of the fatty livers they consume: Norman origin of animals (breeding, feeding); grassy routes at disposal of the time of rearing (12 to 18 weeks); traditional gavage in whole grain corn; food consisting of at least 70% cereals from 43 days. An annual visit is organised each year on each farm to ensure compliance with the livestock with these rules. Well, the producer is present at markets in the region from October to December.
