Church known for its remarkable six-story Romanesque bell tower, whose nave and choir date from the 12th century.
Listed as a historic monument since 1840, Colleville Church is renowned for its remarkable six-storey Romanesque bell tower. One of the corners features a turret housing the staircase leading up to the different levels. The building was severely damaged during the 1944 D-Day bombing raids. The church was rebuilt between 1946 and 1951, restoring its pre-war appearance. The nave and choir date back to the 12th century.
