Admittedly, it’s not as big and modern as the other well-known museums in the area, but for us, it’s THE museum to visit. We love coming back in search of a new anecdote, a little piece of history that Pierre-Louis has unearthed. This indefatigable enthusiast fell in love at first sight with the Big Red One (1st US Infantry Division) - one of the first to set foot on Omaha Beach on the morning of June 6, 1944 - during a school trip to the United States. This romance gave birth to the Big Red One Museum in 2004, 20 years ago!

Le propriétaire qui est un passionné, change les objets exposés tous les ans.
Belles présentations, belles mises en scène.
Vous pouvez également voir ses dernières trouvailles notamment une barge retrouvée en 2022 sur une plage.
A voir absolument.
