This festival in the Kovalam region highlights the cultural, artistic and gastronomic traditions of Kerala.

Re-enactment of the traditional Kerala way of life in some villages around Kovalam. Homes are adorned with floral ornaments and lights on the first two days of the festival. Amazing display of rare sights, traditional houses(nalukettu), village craftsmen at work, disappearing art forms, sale of beautiful handicrafts and costumes, dances, music, regional gastronomy... All in all, a journey into the past...
