Church dedicated to St. George, built in 1810 and enlarged and consecrated in 1824, popular for its annual May festival
Founded in 1810, the church was enlarged and consecrated in 1824. Also called Eduthua Palli, it is dedicated to St. George. It is believed that prayers and offerings made in this church help to cure all mental disorders and other ailments. During the annual festival on May 5, 6 and 7, pilgrims from all parts of South India, of all castes and creeds, visit the church and implore the blessings of the saint.
