LA CRÉMAILLÈRE
Restaurant with a sea view offering fresh dishes between land and sea.
A table with a sea view. To admire the horizon, it is better, however, to book. For the most part, i.e. the plate, trust Grégory Berthaud, Master Restorer. The grill of incoming fish on the menu of the lunch formula delighted us with red mullet fillets, a plaice, and sole, combined with fresh pasta; the whole crowned with a very gourmet coffee, composed of a sweet chocolate cream, a panna cotta with red fruits, a macaroon and a pretty madeleine, melting to perfection. Fish and seafood are in a good place on the menu (the fishing port and oyster basins are just a stone’s throw away) but other suggestions (grilled Norman steak with camembert sauce, Caen-style tripe, calf sweetbread casserole and scallops) remind us that here, between land and sea, marriages are happy. Here is an honest, sincere and simple cuisine, even if, at random from the menu, we tickle a little on the prices! But, everything is fresh, colourful and homemade, the glass of wine well served and the service attentive.

Toujours belles chambres
Environnement agréable
Restaurant top.
