VIEWPOINTS OF THE TOUQUES PENINSULA
These 27m high obelisks are two new landmarks for sailors and landlubbers alike.
After several months of construction, the two Presqu’île towers have finally risen from the ground. This Dantesque project, which has been the subject of much ink, aims to provide a link between the nearby town centre and the sea. Rising to 27 m, these "obelisks" are two new landmarks for sailors and landlubbers alike. Since 2020, the public has been able to climb to the top of one of the towers, on the Quai de l’Impératrice-Eugénie side, to enjoy a unique view of the estuary.
