An amazing building on the market place, in front of the halls.
An astonishing building on the market square, opposite the market halls. Built in Caen stone in the 17th century by Leduc de la Falaise, Louis XIV’s valet, the manor will later become the property of a Sieur de Bois-Hibout, from whom it will take its name, and in the 19th century will house the gendarmerie of the commune, hence its name Lieutenancy. Its architecture, as beautiful as it is unusual, makes it one of the emblematic monuments of Dives. The Cave de l’Abbaye allows you to enter its basements.
