In 2020, a four-kilometre greenway with a bicycle path was built between Douvres-la-Délivrande and Luc-sur-Mer. The path along La Capricieuse, already very popular with walkers, cyclists, sportsmen, and horse riders, now joins the seaside cycle path. It is a bucolic stroll, on the route of the old railroad line linking Caen to Courseulles-sur-Mer from 1875 to 1950, which awaits you. This greenway connects the famous Vélomaritime route, which has been fully developed on the seafront since 2021.
