A table like you’d think you’d never find one. A brick house on the roadside, typical of the Pays d’Auge, recognizable by its orange awnings and cars parked on the side of the road. At noon sharp, she is stormed by the regulars. Let’s warn you from the outset: it’s best to book and prepare to be second course perhaps with less choice on the menu. It doesn’t matter, it’s the atmosphere and human warmth that counts here. Imagine the good smells of yesteryear, the sound of pots simmering on the fire, the mist on the tiles... A rustic kitchen, "de ménage". Calf’s head with gribiche sauce, andouillette gratinée, tripe are quick to settle your stomach after the buffet of starters (cold cuts, raw vegetables, hard-boiled egg-mayonnaise...) and before the cheese platter or dessert (delicious farmhouse fromage frais, chocolate fondant, tart, fruit...). Taste the artisanal cider from the Maison Viard in Bayeux. Whether you’re used to it or not, you’ll be pampered with small onions in a family atmosphere.

Victime de son succès, le service peut-être un peu long
Je reviendrais de préférence au premier service
Le buffet d entrées super, par contre seulement deux plats présentés steak ou andouillette.
Nous pensions avoir un plat en sauce et ou un poisson au choix, et le dessert hormis la tarte, une pêche ou du raisin!! Cela ne reflétait pas les avis précédents.
