FÊTE DU BOUQUET

Less well known than the scallop festival, the bouquet festival was set up on the initiative of the association of the Demoiselles de Grandcamp. The pretty shrimp - or Demoiselle de Grandcamp - is symbolized by an elegant mermaid, half woman, half shrimp, with red hair floating in the wind. Appointment, the first or second Saturday of August, with, on the program, from dawn, a competition of fishing with the bouquet and followed by many animations: aperitif, picnic, workshops for the children, concert, lantern release.... Not to mention the highlight of the day: the Miss Shrimp Parade...
