EGLISE DE GRANGUES
Romanesque church dating from the and centuries, an architectural gem with a rare funerary linter and hosting cultural activities.
Grangues’ Romanesque church is an architectural gem dating from the 12th and 13th centuries. Its rare funerary litter bears witness to the history of the village and its inhabitants. Fortunately, this historic monument is now restored and maintained by the Association Pour la Sauvegarde de l’Église de Grangues (A.P.S.E.G). The A.P.S.E.G. also brings the church to life by organizing cultural events, a welcome initiative that preserves this heritage for future generations and brings it to the attention of as many people as possible. This visit is well worth the detour for the curious and architecture enthusiasts.
