The Côtes du Rhône AOP Domaine de Givaudan (a handful of euros), the Viré-Clessé (a little more expensive), and the Ron Diplomatico (reasonable for a "Reserva") that he recommended on the day of our visit all three fulfill their promises. By the way, we received a mini-course on rum - sorry, rums - and thank you because now we learn to appreciate them and to recognize their aromas. But the man could talk to you as much about his whiskies, calvados and beers... In short, a passionate man who is also a pro!
